Newark Valley, N.Y. (September 22, 2016)—Ten-year-old Brody Hines, of Newark Valley, recently experienced a trip of a lifetime. Make-A-Wish Central New York arranged for Brody and his family to go on a Percy Jackson-themed trip through Europe.
Brody, who has medullablastoma, wanted to live out the adventures portrayed in the “Percy Jackson & the Olympians” books by Rick Riordan. After a limousine ride to the airport, Brody and his family flew to Europe and spent nine days traveling throughout France and Italy. During the trip, the family visited the Eiffel Tower in Paris, went on a gondola ride in Venice, and experienced the Colosseum in Rome.
