Wish Kid Nick

Nick

“ Watching his favorite basketball team, Nick feels like an all-star himself ”

Karen and Mike Rubenstein Manny's

Wish Kid Nick wanted nothing more than to go to the NCAA® Final Four® basketball game with his father. After his diagnosis of kidney disease, Nick’s wish was granted! Not only would his father be there, but two other important men in his life, his godfather and “god-brother”, would be cheering right by his side. Nick & DadNot to mention, his very favorite basketball team would be playing in the tournament!

The four basketball aficionados would be traveling to Indianapolis, Indiana where the game was to be held and would be treated like all-stars from the moment they arrived. Nick’s exclusive treatment started with a private tour of the NCAA® Hall of Champions® and Lucas Oil Stadium, where the Final Four® game would be showcased, exclusive celebrity performances, and access to pre-game practices. After all of the excitement before the actual game, Nick couldn’t wait to watch his favorite basketball team battle for the championship – and they ended up winning!

After his wish trip, Nick wrote to all who helped grant it and said, “You allowed me to live the greatest experience of my life!” Wish granting is more than just a nice thing, it can be a life-changing experience for children with life-threatening medical conditions, like Nick. Thank you for making this great experience possible.
