Last year, Brandon came to Make-A-Wish® Central New York asking what he could do to help grant wishes. He heard about the Kids for Wish Kids® program and has been a supporter ever since.
This year alone, Brandon hosted two fundraising events and joined wish kid Makayla on the ice at an Oswego State hockey game for her wish reveal. Brandon first hosted a birthday party, where he asked friends and family to donate to Make-A-Wish Central New York in lieu of presents, sold Make-A-Wish® stars and bracelets and auctioned donated items from local businesses. He also hosted a community barbeque complete with donated prizes to raffle off and help him reach his goal of sponsoring a wish.
Now, thanks to his participation in the Kids for Wish Kids program, which allows students to sponsor wishes for children to life-threatening medical conditions and enrich their lives with hope, strength and joy, we can grant the wishes of kids like Makayla!
