Syracuse, N.Y. – Last week, 11-year-old Devon Burkhardt, of Whitney Point, experienced a wish come true.
Make-A-Wish® Central New York arranged for Devon, who has cystic fibrosis, and his family to travel to Destiny USA in Syracuse for a daylong shopping spree on July 17. The day included stops at Dick’s Sporting Goods and GameStop and lunch at T.G.I. Fridays. The wish was sponsored by Jewelers for Children with special wish support provided by Syracuse University Athletics and the Destiny USA marketing team.
