Sterling, N.Y. – Wish Kid Kyle Malcott, of Sterling, is about to experience
a wish come true. He and his family will soon meet the New York Yankees
at Yankee Stadium.
Kyle, age 13, is a fan of both college and pro sports. He has a brain tumor
and his wish is to meet some of his favorite idols. During Kyle’s visit to
Yankee Stadium, he will have the opportunity to go on a behind-the-scenes
tour and watch the players take batting practice on the field.
Make-A-Wish® Central New York, Inc. is a nonprofit, tax-exempt
organization dedicated to granting special wishes to children between the
ages of 2-1/2 and 18 who are living with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human
experience with hope, strength and joy. Make-A-Wish has granted 1500 wishes since its inception
