Skaneateles, N.Y. — Nathaniel “Nate” Schreiner, of Skaneateles, recently experienced a wish come true.
Twelve-year-old Nate’s wish was to go to Hawaii. In September, he and his family made the trip and, for a week, got to snorkel, swim with dolphins, and visit a volcano. Nate’s father, Richard Schreiner, said the trip was an incredible experience.
“We had a great time as a family,” he said.
According to his dad, Nate enjoyed seeing the manta rays at night and swimming with dolphins. The staff was especially helpful, he said.
“When we were swimming with dolphins they took Nate ahead and made sure he was in the right position,” said Richard Schreiner. “They were great with Nate and made him feel so comfortable.”
