Syracuse, N.Y. – Like most of us, Wish Kid Josh wishes to enjoy some fun in the sun at Myrtle Beach, but while he is at it he wants to do a little dinosaur hunting! The announcement party will be held on Saturday, April 21 at noon at the Discovery Center, and Josh will leave for his adventure on Thursday, April 25.
Josh’s vacation will include sharing a cozy cabin with his family, hiking on the beach and digging in the sand for dinosaur bones. He will also enjoy a fantastical mini-golf adventure at Jurassic Golf and many more fun attractions together with his family.
“Kids have the biggest imaginations, which makes each wish unique. I love hearing about all the neat adventures our local wish kids come up with.” Said Diane Kupperman, CEO of Make-A-Wish® Central New York.
Josh is 7 years old and was diagnosed with Mitochondrial, a life-threatening disease. But, Josh is not letting this stop him from enjoying life with his family. He loves to go outside and play soccer with his pet dog. His favorite show is Sesame Street and his favorite character is Yogi Bear. Enjoying a beach vacation will be his wish come true!
