Syracuse, N.Y. – Join Young Professionals Advisory Council for its first signature event, an evening of speed dating, and support Make-A-Wish® Central New York on Thursday, January 31, 2013 as The Elbow Room in Hanover Square.
For a $50 donation to Make-A-Wish Central New York, you can enjoy speed dating, drink specials, live music from the Mike McKay Band and a buffet. Individuals not interested in speed dating may still enjoy the food, drinks and music for a $20 donation. Doors open at 6pm for mingling; speed dating begins at 7pm.

Incorporated in 1985, Make-A-Wish Central New York, Inc. is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to granting special wishes to children between the ages of 2-1/2 and 18 who are living with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Make-A-Wish has granted more than 1400 Wishes since its inception. In granting a favorite wish, Make-A-Wish strives to provide the wish child and family with extra-special memories of joy and laughter. A wish offers a welcome respite - a time for nothing, but fun!
Make-A-Wish continues to “bring the magic of a wish” to special Central New York kids because of the generous support of the central New York community both individuals and corporations throughout the fifteen county region it serves. The counties being served are: Broome, Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, Otsego, St. Lawrence, Tioga and Tompkins.
