Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
Make-A-Wish® Central New York
Grants Princess Annie’s Wish to Dance with a REAL Prince!

Syracuse, N.Y. – The Magical Kingdom of Make-A-Wish® will host a Grand Ball in celebration of Princess Annie’s wish to “Dance with a REAL Royal Prince” on Friday, December 6, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. at the Greystone Castle in the Canastota. Princess Annie and the Royal Prince Lorenzo Borghese will meet on the dance floor before their Royal Court exactly at the strike of 6:30 p.m. for the Royal Dance.

Princess Annie will arrive in her Royal Carriage (Limousine) at the New York State Thruway Exit 34 at approximately 6:15 p.m. and will be escorted from the Exit 34 to N. Main Street where they will arrive at Greystone Castle as the local “Villagers” line the streets with sparklers to welcome Princess Annie. Upon her arrival she will be met on the steps of the Castle by Canastota Mayor Carla DeShaw, who will bestow upon her the Key to the Magical Kingdom of Canastota.

The Royal Herald will announce Princess Annie’s guests’ arrival and will teach them how to bow and curtsey. He will then announce the arrival of Princess Annie and her Royal Prince.

Everything about this evening will be fit for a Princess; the way the room is decorated, the special drinks made for Princess Annie, her favorite foods will be served, the special wish music she will dance too, and even a Birthday Cake fit for a Princess, because December 6th is also her 11th Birthday! A night to remember!

Princess Annie’s surprise wish announcement was held in October at the Ms. Orange Fan Luncheon where Lord Coach Boeheim and Lady Juli made the Royal Announcement to Wish Kid Annie that her wish would be granted and she would become Princess Annie on December 6th.

“Each and every wish granted to Wish Kids are all magical in their own special way, but this wish is the very essence of what a wish is and the magic it brings to a Wish Kid,” noted Diane Kuppermann, President and CEO of Make-A-Wish® Central New York. She added, “We are so very lucky to have an amazing staff, volunteers and donors who have helped to create this amazing wish, and we are so very grateful for all the support bestowed upon this royal court.” This night will be truly magnificent! And we are thrilled to share the power of a wish® with an entire community!
