Syracuse, N.Y. — Macy’s announces its 5th Annual Believe Campaign benefiting
Make-A-Wish®. In the holiday tradition of writing letters to Santa, Macy’s asks customers to mail their letters to Santa at Macy’s during the holiday season to benefit Make-A-Wish. The Believe campaign runs from November 9th through December 24th at all Macy’s stores.
For every letter dropped off at a Macy’s store, they will donate $1 to Make-A-Wish, up to $1 million, to help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
“We hope to encourage all believers to drop off letters – stamped and addressed to Santa at the North Pole – at the special Santa Mail letterbox at any Macy’s store,” notes Diane Kuppermann, CEO of Make-A-Wish® Central New York. Kuppermann adds that it is wonderful when schools, daycares and other child focused organizations participate in Believe letter-writing.
